SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship awards are determined prior to the beginning of the academic school year. Regardless of major or program of study, to be eligible for consideration for IU Kokomo Scholarships, new students must have been admitted by April 1 and continuing IU Kokomo students must have advance registered by April 1.

There are several scholarships that are limited to elementary education, early childhood education, and/or secondary education students. The specific criteria for each award, the maximum number of recipients, and the amount are contained within the scholarship application. Several scholarships are awarded only for the student teaching semester. The deadline for applications is March 15, 2008 for 2008/2009 awards. Students may apply for more than one scholarship.  However, each student will be awarded only one scholarship. Education faculty selects the recipients.
