Health and Aging
The Bachelor of Arts degree in health and aging is an interdisciplinary, applied program designed to prepare students of all ages for work in businesses, social agencies, hospitals, and government agencies related to health care of the elderly. Students take course work in the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and nursing, as well as business. Students also have opportunities to do applied work in these areas through internship experiences in agencies that provide products, services, or other resources for the elderly.
Careers
Students who complete the Bachelor of Arts in health and aging are prepared to take entry-level, management, or supervisory positions in community agencies and businesses that provide health care for the elderly.
