International Travel Courses

History and stories behind the events of World War II will come to life for you on this 13-day trip to Europe. You will travel to locales including Berlin (with trips to Sachsenhausen concentration camp and Haus der Wannsee-Konferenz, where the “Final Solution” was devised), Amsterdam (site of Dutch Resistance), Paris and Normandy (Bayeux for a tour of the beaches of D-Day), London and Dover (site of Operation Dynamo). Films and literary works will play an integral role in participants’ preparation for this amazing journey. It is recommended that students complete ENG-W 132 before taking this class so they will be prepared to journal and explore some topic associated with WWII in more depth.
