Biography

Dr. Joung Yeon (J.Y.) Kim is an associate professor of accounting in the School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo.

Dr. Kim’s research focuses on financial statement frauds, user behavior in online marketplaces, revenue management of IT service firms, and accounting information systems. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Decision Support Systems, e-Service Journal, Review of Business Research, and Journal of Academy of Business and Economics.

She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Korea advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
