Wendy Grice

Biography

Wendy Grice has performed over 25 principal opera roles including The Queen of The Night (Magic Flute), Violetta (La Traviata), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Abigaille (Nabucco), and Leonore (Fidelio). She created the role of Susanna Wesley in the worlds premier of A Church of One Book. Recent performances include Elektra (Idomoneo), 2012; Konstanze (Entfueruhng), 2012; Elvira (Ernani), 2013; and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), 2014.

Wendy holds a Masters degree in Vocal Performance and Literature from the University of Notre Dame, and is completing her PhD. She has taught at the University of Notre Dame, East Stroudsburg University, Marywood University, and DeSales University before coming to IUK. She has directed choirs in Indiana and Pennsylvania for more than 20 years and has co-produced summer young artist productions with her husband, Garry. Wendy is a member of National Association of Teachers of Singing, the National Association for Music Education, and the American Choral Directors Association. Recent recordings and student recordings.
