Biography

Chérie has worked at Indiana University Kokomo since 2000 as the Instructional Strategies Specialist in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment. As an instructional designer and technologist she primarily consults with resident and adjunct faculty on course design, effective use of instructional technologies, active learning techniques, the IU eText Initiative, Collaboration Technologies, and Next Generation Technologies.

She works closely with faculty on the design and creation of quality online and hybrid courses and facilitates the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshops and the Online Learning Strategies courses on the Kokomo campus. In addition she facilitates New Adjunct and New Faculty Orientations and Learning Communities.

Chérie is the administrator for the Canvas LMS on the Kokomo campus and successfully transitioned faculty from the Sakai CMS to the Canvas LMS in 2015. She also teaches online as an adjunct professor for the School of Sciences.
